Before the humans arrived, instinct and some basic emotions were already known. With the humans came the more complex emotions and with those more complex emotions we created drama. And boy, do we love drama. We love drama so much that we want drama in our drama. Dramaception.

It goes a bit like this: “We can’t describe how incredibly amazing this youngster did in the final! He/she blew the competition away and all out of nowhere! He/she didn’t know he/she had it in him/her. This is a dream come true. Although, for the excited and happy youngster not everything went according plan. He/she didn’t get a good sleep. One pillow was too low and two pillows were too high. He/she also wanted to sleep with her headphones on but he/she likes sleeping on his/her side. On top of that he/she forgot his/her smartphone when he/she went to the bathroom in the morning and it didn’t stop there. During the 5min car ride to the competition area he/she realized he/she forgot his/her headphones and there were only commercial breaks on the radio during that time. But nevertheless a great victory which certainly will be remembered until the end of time.“ You can imagine how many “first world problems” the losers were having.

So what’s it about? Winning, losing or drama? If you have drama when you win you’re doing it wrong. If you have drama when you lose you’re doing it wrong. Just win or suck it up when you lose. No excuses. Which leads me to “Guide to winning – part 1 – Mindset”. Next week! ;-)

ropeskipping like a boss with a fluo-pink and fluo-green rope!

I always start slowly. Relaxed. Putting some music on. Going one round, two rounds. Trying to catch a breath. “Hmm, I’m going faster then the previous round”. A round later, “Damn, even faster then the previous round”.

Yes, I’m caught in this infinite loop of accelerating running awesomeness!
